The FAR methodology is a formula for identifying frontier areas in the United States. It was recently released by USDA and ORHP for public comment. The methodology could be used to determine eligibility for a wide variety of federal funding and grant opportunities, so input from frontier stakeholders is essential. All comments are due by January 4, 2013.

This forum was created to facilitate discussion between everyone interested in providing feedback on the FAR methodology. You can use it to discuss your questions and ideas about the FAR methodology with others who are interested in it. All questions and comments posted on this forum will be related back to the authors of the FAR methodology for their responses. You do not need to register to post questions/comments.
